My finger to your lips…
Shhhh, don’t speak
Hold my gaze…Tell me
with your eyes
what it is you want to say.
My finger to your lips
Whisper with your soul…
your spirit…
speak only with your eyes
Look into the vast windows,
The sea of my soul.
Shed a tear if you must…
stare with a longing,
see the lost promises.
My finger to your lips…
I’m letting you go.
Lets forget the goodbyes
No more holding on.
I could go forever, feeding
on this broken love, the lies.
My finger to your lips…
Just melt into me…
For one last time.
Get lost in the webs we have woven
One last moment…
One last chance for bliss…
But know I’ve already let you go…
My finger to your lips.

wow this is gorgeous. starts of romantic and loving in the first verse and opens out into a moving and regretful farewell. very powerful
Thank you… I wanted to portray how most relationships play out for me. Fire and Ice.
Love does flow
Even when you’re letting go…
Love & Light
It certainly does Mira. ♥
GONE huh? That’s it. Very commanding and “quiet” scene here, love it.
Thank you Pete.
Indeed gone… ♥
Where is the Love button?

There was an impact with this that I am guessing was seasoned by your experience…..I got lost in the goosebumps on my flesh…..very very good, my lady!

Thank you Celeste! As you know with poetry, some of it is experience mixed with a feeling… something triggers the inspiration… some of it is allusive. The is what is beautiful about writing. There is some newness to this poetry, but mostly some past experience to draw from. I am glad you enjoyed it so much! ♥
i enjoy this side of you, when you do share!
Thank you…
I like this side too. Maybe it is something I should share more of… I enjoyed writing this very much.
