A Poetic Memoir Of My Journey Through Life

Withdrawals and Insomnia

I can nap a little during the day and falling asleep is easy, but then  I wake up with this intense energy balled up in my tummy. It is miserable and very difficult to sleep through.

It is very similar to having restless leg syndrome except it is my full body that is going haywire.

So far I am experiencing insomnia, aches and pains, sensory issues, agitation, and anxiety.

I know if I can get through the next week, I will be ok…. but be prepared for more late night posts. LOL

  1. Post away! Hope you feel better soon and things start to even out. I know changes in medication can take days and even weeks for your body and mind to get used to and structure and routine are important. Good luck!

  2. what new med or meds are you taking anyways. in an earlier post a symptom you had reminded me of lexipro I think it is – hot flashes I think belongs to that one. don’t forget about lavender as a natural solution for sleep.

    • Thank you. I am in Lamictal, Haldol, Klonopin, and pain meds… the doc reduced them all and he is just a plain ol doc

      • I’ve only taken Haldol – long time ago. sometimes the multiple of meds can really cause havoc. the combo of psych meds and pain meds certainly could change a lot of things. I do hope that relative calmness returns your way…:)

      • Thank you. The haldol was a life saver for me and I am really peeved that he took it upon himself to remove me from it. I did make an appointment through a mental health facility that is for low income people, hopefully they can help.

  6. I’m not “like”ing your syndromes, just letting you know there are people there rooting for you.
